Michelle is a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner in the state of Nebraska. She has more than 10 years of experience providing therapy for youth, adults and their families who identify as gender-nonconforming, transgender and those on the gender fluid spectrum. I also have extensive work within the queer community and those who may identify as GLBTQQIA+.
As a therapist I am direct, interactive and results oriented. I provide support and practical feedback to help you effectively and competently address personal challenges and life experiences. With compassion, humor and understanding, I will work with you to help you build on your own strengths and attain personal change and growth. I realize that participants know their experiences best.
And yes, my dog (Harper) comes to the office with me most days!
About Michelle: I grew up in the Omaha area and attended Dana College where I obtained my bachelors in psychology and played basketball and soccer at the collegiate level. I received from Masters from the University of Nebraska Omaha with a School Counseling Endorsement from Wayne State College. I am married with two children and enjoy spending time with family and friends. In my spare time I love being active and playing sports. My passion for counseling sparked during my junior year of college due to some major life changes and amazing mentors/professors. I am passionate and committed both personally and professionally to the development and awareness to motivate others to become an activist in their own community. I look forward to meeting you!
